I became a nurse in 1981 and have been married to my husband for 33 years with 3 grown children who have successful careers. I worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Emergency Department of a busy level 2 trauma center prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 1996.

Our family had been living in Crystal Lake, Illinois for 23 years to be close to my husband’s job. Upon deciding to move back to Indiana to be closer to family, we began the search for a place to put down roots. After meeting Melissa, we recognized a great need for accessible healthcare providers for the community of Franklin. With the obvious need and the current changes in healthcare environment, I felt it was a perfect place to put down roots. I love having my patients and their families as regular visitors and enjoy helping with their healthcare needs. I enjoy all ages and the challenges they bring and I hope the community of Franklin will allow me to become a friend and partner in meeting the healthcare needs for all our patients.
